Advantages and disadvantages of sterile packaging

Aseptic packaging is a modern packaging technique in which sterile or pre-sterilized products are filled into aseptic containers and sealed under aseptic conditions.
A sterile packaging system is one that meets the following three conditions:
A. Pre-sterilize the food
B. to sterilization packaging container
C. Sterilize the charging sealing environment
Advantages of aseptic packaging:
A. packaging quality improvement;
B. food safety and health;
C. long shelf life;
D. Save production and cost;
E. meet the requirements of modern environment-friendly packaging.
Disadvantages of aseptic packaging:
A. equipment application lacks universality;
B. Cannot be used in food with poor mobility and high viscosity;
C. Strict operation requirements.
Development of sterile packaging bags
"Sterile" packaging is a method of sterilization and packaging of packaged drugs in a "sterile" environment by means of instantaneous ultra-high temperature sterilization technology. Composite materials are used for packaging through different forms of extrusion and composite molding. It is better to keep the medicine, to extend the shelf life, save energy, reduce the packaging cost, and easy to implement environmental protection packing, etc. The use of antibacterial polymer packaging materials for drug and food packaging can inhibit bacterial contamination, extend the shelf life of drug and food, and ensure safety. Asepsis will become the direction of flexible packaging.
Once the package contains bacteria, will shorten the shelf life, and even cause accidents. Therefore, aseptic packaging has great potential in the field of packaging in the context of the improvement of industrial production standard daifuku.
According to relevant statistics, from 2008 to 2012, the global production of aseptic packaging market increased by 5%, with the fastest growth rate in South Asia and southeast Asia, reaching 22% per year. Predicts 2016, aseptic packaging market capacity will reach 153 billion litres, aseptic packaging consumption will reach 333 billion. Much of the new demand will come from south/south-east Asia and China, which will grow at an average annual rate of 11 per cent and 3.5 per cent respectively.
Geographically, the aseptic packaging market is growing rapidly in Asia, with India and China being the fastest growing countries in the world. Between 2010 and 2015, China alone will account for 28% of the added value of the global aseptic packaging market, and central and South America will grow faster than the world average, but these regions are from a relatively weak base. Brazil will maintain double-digit annual growth for the next few years as aseptic packaging increases its use in beverages, food and medicine.
At present, the field of packaging innovation and development is very active, all kinds of complex packaging materials continue to emerge, but aseptic packaging will undoubtedly become a unique development in the field of packaging.
